About the company:
Incommon is hiring on behalf of Unific. Unific is a Saa S company empowering merchants to turn data into growth.
Position Summary:
We are looking for a Junior Java Developer who will help build and own customer-facing
product features from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
Dynamo DB or similar No SQL database (writing efficient queries and working with indexes)
Experience with Drools or other business rule management system (BRMS)
Experience working in an Agile team
Comfortable with pairing with developers and other team members
Identify when a certain design pattern could help and follow it to create working software
Capable of using Version Control Systems such as git
Linux/Unix experience
Familiarity with managed CI tools such as Circle CI, Travis CI, Jarvis or Codeship
Requirements :
3+ years of Java experience
Experience using AWS (AWS certification preferred, but not required)
3+ years using Test Driven Development (TDD)
Experience with Spring Boot
Experience using Dependency Injection with Spring 4.2+ or Google Guice
Proficient using SQL and Normalized Relational Database Schemas
Experience with Jolt Transformations, Graph QL, REST APIs and API clients is a plus
Problem solver, able to identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems
Ability to learn new technologies quickly
Good written and verbal communication skills
