We are seeking a skilled and experienced Public and Health Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining systems that promote public health and sanitation. This includes water supply networks, wastewater management systems, and health infrastructure to ensure community well-being.
Responsibilities
Design and develop water supply, sewage, and sanitation systems for urban and rural settings.
Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for public health engineering projects.
Collaborate with stakeholders, including government bodies, NGOs, and community groups, to plan and execute health infrastructure projects.
Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations in all projects.
Monitor and manage the operation and maintenance of public health systems.
Prepare technical reports, budgets, and project documentation.
Implement strategies for disease prevention through improved sanitation and water quality.
Qualifications
∙Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Public Health Engineering.
∙3-5 years of experience
∙Strong knowledge of public health principles, water treatment, and sanitation engineering.
∙Proficiency in using design and analysis tools like Auto CAD, Revit , and other engineering software.
∙Familiarity with international and local health and safety standards.
Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., NBC, IS).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks effectively.
