How can we enable them to get on such platforms?

By reducing the cost of distribution. If we break down financial products such as loans, insurance and investments into their fundamental building blocks, and offer them as APIs to businesses, they then package these APIs into highly custom apps, tailor-made for their specific customers, instead of a generic one-size-for-all approach that is the norm today.

This also enables them to go live with a fintech product or service in a matter of days, not months.

Importance of the role

At Setu, we believe every company can become a fintech company. As part of our Business Finance team, you’ll drive strategic financial insights and support key decision-making across Setu and Pine Labs. This role is pivotal in delivering profitability insights, understanding revenue-cost dynamics, and enabling growth through close collaboration with business and leadership teams.

This is a high-impact role that provides insight into multiple business areas, combining technical financial acumen with a customer-focused mindset.

What will you do at Setu?

In this role, you’ll spend your time—

• Develop and maintain management reports covering financial flows, revenue, expenses, etc., and support budgeting and forecasting.
• Analyse and optimise pricing strategies to maximise profitability and market competitiveness, in alignment with business objectives.
• Provide leadership with deep insights on actual performance, including variance and trend analysis.
• Drive visibility into financial performance; identify and implement gap-closing strategies in partnership with cross-functional teams.
• Analyse revenue and cost metrics, and work with functional teams to enhance revenue and reduce costs.
• Deliver ongoing reports on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and operational metrics.
• Analyse trends in KPIs related to financial metrics like sales, expenditures, and profit margin.
• Implement business intelligence tools and create dashboard reports for strategic decision-making.

Who is the right fit for this role?

To excel in this role, you will need—

• Qualifications: Chartered Accountant with at least 5 years of work experience, including experience in business finance/ financial planning and analysis.
• Industry experience: Experience in financial services, payments, or fintech is a plus.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to deliver independently with limited supervision, and the ability to collaborate across teams and communicate insights effectively,
