We are looking for a Brokerage Operations Manager - Trading Job Description involves leading and overseeing trading operations, managing risk, and ensuring profitability . Responsibilities include developing trading strategies, supervising traders, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Key qualifications include a bachelor's degree, experience in trading or brokerage, strong analytical and leadership skills, and relevant licenses. Key responsibilities Strategic and operational leadership: Develop and implement the firm's trading strategy. Oversee all trading activities to ensure profitable operation. Manage market, credit, and liquidity risks, and enforce risk limits. Ensure all trading systems are functioning properly and risk controls are in place. Team and personnel management: Supervise, mentor, and train traders and other staff. Recruit and evaluate employees. Manage performance and conduct disciplinary actions when necessary. Compliance and reporting: Ensure all trading activities comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Manage and update transactional reporting processes in line with regulatory changes. Monitor and report on trading activities and performance to senior leadership. Client and market management: Monitor client trading activity and provide insights to clients. Ensure top-level liquidity by managing relationships with providers. Adjust pricing based on market conditions and liquidity availability. Key qualifications Education: A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is typically required. Experience: Several years of experience in trading, brokerage operations, or a similar leadership role is essential. Licensing: Must hold necessary licenses, such as the FINRA Series 7 and 63 in the United States. Skills: Strong understanding of financial markets, trading strategies, and risk management. Excellent analytical, decision-making, and communication skills. Proficiency with trading software and platforms. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
