Job Title: Azure Migration Specialist

Location: Bangalore/Hyderabad

Role Description:

The Data Migration Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the migration of data from AWS to Azure, ensuring that all processes are executed smoothly and efficiently.

Database Management: MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL proficiency.

Data Migration Experience, hybrid cloud migration knowledge

Scripting: Python, Bash, PowerShell; automation tools like Ansible.

Secondary skills AWS Services: Experience with AWS DMS, SCT, EC2, S3, VPC.

Security: Data encryption, access controls, backup strategies

Ideal experience:

  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in database management and data migration, with specific experience in Azure platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of Database technologies – Oracle, SQL Server Data Base.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure SQL Database and Azure Data Lake.
  • Experience with data migration tools such as SQL Server Migration Assistant (SSMA) , Azure Data Factory, Oracle Data Pump, Azure Database Migration Service and Azure Synapse.
  • Expertise in SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Familiarity with data validation and testing methodologies.
  • Experience with Python
  • Expertise in heavy extraction logic and load strategies with financial applications
