About the role:
The Observability Engineers are responsible for developing and maintaining tools, code and monitoring standards to monitor cloud infrastructure and cloud services for customer environments. Monitoring is used to provide issue response, trending, forecast and event correlation. Additional custom monitoring may be added by adding new metrics or additional development. Also responsible for setting up centralized log aggregation platform to evaluate the performance metrics at development and testing stage.
Experience in Application Performance Monitoring (APM) and Infrastructure Monitoring for Different Business Application.
Knowledge of requirement gathering and rollout monitoring and observability solutions. Partner with the business and development teams to identify requirements, define monitoring solutions, and implement the same.
Experience in integrating monitoring tools with application and infrastructure.
Experience in observability tooling, working with different observability tools like New Dynatrace, ELK, Splunk, or similar)
Delivering solutions in development, test, and production environments, and integrating systems and applications with monitoring and APM tools.
Working knowledge on development on any scripting language (python, shell and power shell)
Working experience on various cloud services with AWS, Azure
Working experience on containerization and Kubernetes Orchestration
Tools – ELK Stack, cloud native monitoring services, ELASTIC, APM tools etc, and observability kpi and reports for SLA.
