Security operations center analyst

Key Responsibilities: Policy Development : Create and implement comprehensive security policies, protocols, and procedures.
Network Monitoring : Track network traffic for irregular activities and swiftly respond to potential threats.
Vulnerability Assessments : Conduct regular assessments and penetration tests to identify and address vulnerabilities.
Security Tools Management : Implement and manage security tools such as NDR, EDR, and DLP.
Incident Response : Lead investigations into security breaches and coordinate incident response efforts.
Trend Analysis : Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends and threats to enhance our security measures.
Collaboration : Work closely with IT and other departments to fortify our overall security posture.
Training and Support : Educate and support staff on best practices in cybersecurity.
Required Qualifications: Educational Background : Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience : Proven track record as a Cybersecurity Engineer or similar role with 5-6 years of experience in Information Security.
Knowledge : Deep understanding of security frameworks and risk management methodologies, along with experience in network, application, and cloud security.
Skills : Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent communication, and teamwork abilities.
Certifications : Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
