The Custom Design Solutions Team is part of Synopsys Circuit Design & TCAD Solutions Group. We work with top-tier Synopsys customers to deploy high-quality Custom/Analog Design Solutions and Flows on latest process nodes. The team works across the spectrum of design including front-end, simulation, back-end, and verification flows. The teambelieves in fostering interest and opportunities to work in different aspects of the design spectrum. You will get the rightplatform to apply design knowledge, architect and develop Custom Design solutions.Staff Solutions EngineerJob ResponsibilitiesPromote the adoption of Synopsys Custom Design Platform to new Customers by delivering presentations and demosWork with Customers to understand their flow requirements and map them to features within Synopsys Custom Design PlatformDesign and develop Custom scripts for features specific to a given customer or to provide a quick solution while the features are being enhanced.Own the Customer relationship, i.e. work with R&D and other teams to make sure Customer requirements are well understood andtrack the development of features required by the Customer.Job RequirementsBE/MTech in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering5-10+ years of experience creating and supporting custom design flows using Custom Compiler or equivalent industry standard toolsHands-On experience in coding medium-sized software solutions for custom design problemsExpertise in one or more areas like:Advanced custom layout flows for FinFET processSimulation environments and simulator data handlingParasitic extraction techniquesMixed Signal Design with custom design and digital PnR toolsMemory design and flow developmentAutomatic Custom Placement and RoutingExpertise in one or more scripting/programming languages like TCL/Python/Perl/SKILL
