We are seeking a skilled BAW Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of driving intelligent decision-making processes.
Position Overview:
As a BAW Developer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and integrating workflows using IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create efficient business processes and ensure high-quality user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain BAW workflows and integrations using SOAP and REST APIs.
- Design and implement BPM flows, user experience (UX) elements, and process applications using React, Angular, and Bootstrap.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Utilize CSS and JavaScript to customize user interfaces and improve overall usability.
- Conduct thorough testing of applications and workflows, ensuring functionality and performance standards are met.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to workflow performance and integration.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members and end-users.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in business process management and automation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in BAW development and integration.
- Strong knowledge of SOAP and RESTful web services.
- Proficiency in BPMN and experience with designing and implementing BPM flows.
- Solid understanding of UX elements using React, Angular, and Bootstrap.
- Strong knowledge of CSS and JavaScript for user interface customization.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with other IBM products, such as IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation.
- Knowledge of database management and SQL.
- Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
