About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Writer to join our team. In this role, you will craft impactful content that reflects our brand's voice, you will create a variety of materials, from long-form articles to social media posts, with a focus on engaging and thought-provoking communication. This role requires someone with a strong grasp of media trends and an adaptable approach to writing for various platforms.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation for Brand Communication : Develop captivating, well-structured content that supports brand objectives and engages our audience. This includes writing long-form articles, Press Release, Newsletter, PR articles, Brand articles, thought leadership pieces, and social media posts on Pinkvilla’s platforms such as Linkedin etc.
  • Social Media Engagement : Actively monitor and engage in relevant conversations on social media, particularly LinkedIn and Twitter, to maintain an up-to-date understanding of trends. You’ll ensure our content is timely, well-informed, and tailored to the nuances of each platform.
  • Crafting Platform-Specific Content : Write content suited to the requirements of each social media platform, including LinkedIn posts, tweets, and other professional network updates. You’ll need to understand and leverage elements like character limits, tagging, and hashtag optimization for maximum engagement.
  • Industry Trend Analysis : Stay on top of developments in industry trends, competitive content strategies, and platform updates. Your insights will help shape our content strategies to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
  • Ownership and Attention to Detail : Approach each project with a sense of ownership and dedication, ensuring that all content is clean, concise, and meets quality standards. A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy are essential.
  • Creative Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking : Address challenges with innovative solutions and thoughtful analysis. You’ll need to think critically about content goals and find creative ways to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Continuous Learning and Adaptability : Show a proactive attitude toward learning and staying updated with industry practices. Flexibility and a willingness to adjust to new content demands will be key.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience : A minimum of 3+ years in business writing, PR content creation, Press release or a similar role, ideally with a focus on corporate communication.
  • Content Creation Expertise : Demonstrated skill in creating engaging content across platforms, with strong knowledge of social media best practices. Prior experience in crafting articles, corporate blogs, and media pieces targeted at business and leadership audiences is essential.
  • Social Media Platform Savvy : Comprehensive understanding of social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn and Twitter, including platform-specific formatting, tagging, hashtag strategies, and engagement techniques.
  • Strong Editorial and Planning Skills : Experience with editorial planning, understanding how to balance short-term content needs with long-term strategic goals. Experience in managing content calendars and timelines is beneficial.
  • Preferred Background : Agency experience or a background in PR, business journalism, or corporate writing is highly desirable, as is the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skills in Multitasking and Communication : Strong multitasking abilities, problem-solving skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. A collaborative mindset and a commitment to teamwork are essential for success in this role.
