Title- Video Editor cum Graphic Designer Location - Chandigarh University, Mohali Campus Key Responsibilities Create, edit and produce high-quality video content for the university's marketing, social media, event highlights, course promos, guest lectures etc. Develop compelling graphic design assets (digital & print) including social-media creatives, banners, flyers, brochures, posters, event visuals, signage. Collaborate closely with the content team, marketing team, photography/videography team to ideate, storyboard and execute visual campaigns. Manage end-to-end video editing: assembling raw footage, applying transitions, motion graphics, text overlays, sound/music, colour grading, export/optimisation for platforms. Ensure consistency with brand guidelines (fonts, colours, templates, visual style) across design and video outputs. Stay updated with latest trends in video content, social-media formats, graphics and motion design. Maintain organised archives of design assets, footage, project files and render outputs. Deliver multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and ensuring high attention to detail. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Film Production, Visual Arts or related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience (for example 2+ years) in video editing and graphic design. Proficiency in design software: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign (for graphic design). Proficiency in video editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro or equivalent motion graphics/editing tools. (JD templates list such skills) Strong visual storytelling skills, ability to work with raw footage and turn into polished video pieces. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Ability to handle multiple assignments, prioritize work and meet tight deadlines. Preferred Skills Experience creating short-form social media videos (Reels, TikTok style), motion graphics and animations. Understanding of social media platform specifications, print-media requirements. Basic knowledge of photography/videography (shooting, lighting, sound) is a plus.
