About the Company

Troovy is one of the fastest-growing brands in nutrition for children and families. We are on a mission to ensure that every child in India gets complete, clean nutrition daily. We started with our ground-breaking healthy tomato sauce, which has seen tremendous success over the last year. We are now closing our seed round of funds with one of the largest D2C VCs in India and are launching a range of one-of-a-kind products—India's healthiest and tastiest milk mix yet, high-protein pasta, high-protein munchies, etc.

Role Description

This full-time, on-site Internship  in Gurgaon requires a strong understanding of food science, innovative thinking, and a passion for nutritious, clean-label products for kids. You'll assist in product formulation, conducting batch testing, ensuring quality control, and auditing manufacturing processes to meet food safety standards (FSSAI, HACCP). Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

You will be actively involved in various facets of product development and quality assurance, including:

• Work closely with the product development team to assist in formulating new products, conducting trials, and testing different ingredients to ensure product stability, taste, and shelf life.
• Conduct batch testing and quality checks during production to ensure products meet internal and external quality standards and assist in troubleshooting any quality issues.
• Audit third-party manufacturers and suppliers to ensure they adhere to Troovy's quality expectations and food safety certifications, such as FSSAI, HACCP, and ISO.
• Assist in creating and maintaining comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for product development, manufacturing, and QA processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, R&D, and marketing, to ensure smooth transitions from product development to commercial launch.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology , Food Science , or a related discipline.
• 0-1 year of experience in the food industry, with some exposure to product development, quality assurance, or a similar area (internships or project work in relevant fields are highly regarded).
• Basic knowledge of food safety regulations such as FSSAI, HACCP, and ISO.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
