Mechanical Design Engineer Location: The Gateway by UKN, Nallur Halli Main Rd, Brooke field, Bengaluru, Karnataka , India Payrate: 12 LPA ( Day Shift ) Exp: 5 Years Junior Level position About the job Aerosapien Technologies is an electric aviation and engineering company. We are developing all-electric aircraft for cargo transport. With the ability to operate using existing helipads and regional airports. We are a specialized team of engineers ranging from aerospace, automotive, mechanical, electrical, and software. We are passionate about providing solutions to challenging real-world problems. Follow us on: Job Description Candidate will work with teams to establish design requirements and ensure designs are safe, durable, and meet the quality requirements. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Creating & manipulating solid models Experience with designing weld fixtures and tooling Experience in creating weldment drawings Thorough knowledge of actuators and clamping devices Familiar with hydraulic and pneumatic systems design, power packs, NPT standards, hydraulic lines Assist in creating technical documents that will provide engineering requirements for designs and repairs. Interfacing and coordinating with multiple engineering disciplines to promote the exchange of necessary data Technical data review & interpretation Training/mentoring junior engineers to further grow design team Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and discussions (Design, Structures, Project) Preferred Experience and Skills Microsoft office Experience with 3D CAD software - SolidWorks Reading technical prints Technical writing and documentation Strong communication and collaboration Part stack-up analysis and fit checks Education Requirements AS or BS in Engineering or Engineering Technology such as: Aerospace Mechanical Power Generation / Power Plants Automotive Skills & Experience 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD), Design, Documentations, SolidWorks, Tolerance Analysis, Tolerance Stack Ups
