Senior Data Engineer

Lead and deliver scalable, secure, and compliant data engineering solutions. Drive data pipeline development and architecture, ensuring high performance and reliability across systems.

Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines for structured and unstructured data.

Optimize data workflows for performance, cost, and quality.

Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for data applications.

Establish monitoring, alerting, and data quality checks.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Scientists, Analysts, and DevOps.

Mentor and support junior data engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing.

Ensure solutions meet data governance and compliance standards.

Proficient in Apache Spark and distributed data processing.

Strong programming skills in Python and/or Scala .

Advanced SQL skills and experience with data modeling.

Experience with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow , AWS Step Functions , or similar.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

Monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

~4+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, building and managing large-scale data infrastructure.
