Job Description: Head of Department – Nepal OperationsLocation: Ahmedabad, IndiaRole: Divisional Head / BU HeadReports To: Vertical Head1. Role OverviewResponsible for driving overall business operations for the Nepal market from Ahmedabad, including strategy planning, sales & marketing leadership, distribution management, and team development. Ensures business growth, revenue achievement, market expansion, and smooth coordination between HO, Nepal operations, and channel partners.2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Strategic & Business LeadershipPrepare annual business plans aligned with company objectives.Manage budgeting, forecasting, and P&L for Nepal.Execute strategic initiatives for growth, brand building, and market development.B. Sales & Business DevelopmentIdentify market opportunities and drive sales to achieve targets.Monitor competition and implement effective counter-strategies.Build strong relationships with key doctors, hospitals, and channel partners.C. Marketing & Product PromotionPlan and execute marketing activities, product launches, CMEs, seminars, and promotions.Enhance brand visibility and ensure strong product positioning.D. Distribution & Supply ChainAppoint and manage CSA, distributors, and stockists in Nepal.Ensure efficient stock flow from HO to CFA and distributors.Track inventory, primary/secondary sales, and territory coverage.E. Team ManagementLead, train, and motivate the sales & marketing team.Recruit new team members and improve field productivity.Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and compliance.F. Operational ExcellenceAnalyze low-performing territories and implement corrective plans.Resolve customer issues and maintain service standards.Ensure accurate expense reporting and adherence to company processes.3. Required SkillsStrong leadership and team-handling capabilitiesSales, marketing, and business development expertiseChannel & distribution management knowledgeExcellent communication and decision-making skills4. Qualification & ExperienceGraduate/Postgraduate in Science, Pharmacy, Business, or related field10–15 years of experience with at least 5 years in leadershipExperience in Nepal market preferredApply at:
