We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Architectural Draftsman to join our team. As an Architectural Draftsman, you will play a crucial role in the project lifecycle, from initial concept to final completion. You will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure that all design and construction documents meet regulatory standards and client expectations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare presentation drawings and statements for client review and approval.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with various consultants, recommending and appointing them as necessary for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) and structural aspects.
  • Guide and supervise Municipal Architectural Assistants in preparing approval drawings for regulatory authorities.
  • Assist in preparing MEP concept drawings, including fire safety, drainage, and other essential systems.
  • Designate locations for overhead tanks, sewage treatment plants (STP), substations, and meters within the project.
  • Develop working drawings and coordinate with MEP and structural teams to ensure integration of all systems.
  • Provide detailed elevation drawings and specify color codes for paint finishes.
  • Include interior details and finishing specifications in project drawings and documentation.
  • Issue completion certificates upon project finalization and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Arrange and facilitate review meetings with clients and consultants, documenting minutes and maintaining records of correspondences.
  • Prepare specifications and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for materials used in construction projects.
  • Submit stage-wise completion certificates through the accounts department as per project milestones.


Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Architecture Drafting
  • Proven experience as an Architectural Draftsman or similar role in architectural design and construction projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction standards.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
