Role Overview:
As a UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for translating high-level requirements into user-friendly and appealing designs that improve user experience across our platform. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless and effective design process. A strong background in using Figma as a design tool is highly preferred, as it is our primary design platform.
Key Responsibilities:
• User Research and Design Thinking:
• Conduct user research, interviews, and usability tests to gather insights and understand user needs behavior, and pain points.
• Use a design-thinking approach to create user personas, journey maps, and wireframes that align with business goals.
• UI/UX Design:
• Design intuitive, user-centered interfaces that enhance the user experience across web and mobile applications.
• Create and refine wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, and UI designs using Figma.
• Ensure designs are responsive and mobile-first, providing a consistent user experience across all devices.
• Collaboration with Developers and Product Teams:
• Work closely with developers to ensure the technical feasibility of your designs and assist with design implementation.
• Collaborate with product managers to align design objectives with business goals and user requirements.
• Design System and Brand Consistency:
• Maintain and enhance the design system to ensure a consistent look and feel across all digital products.
• Apply and evolve the company’s brand guidelines within your designs to ensure visual consistency and brand alignment.
• Prototyping and Usability Testing:
• Develop interactive prototypes to test design concepts and gather feedback from users.
• Conduct usability testing sessions to identify issues and iterate on designs based on user feedback.
Qualifications:
• Experience:
• 3-5 years of experience as a UI/UX designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design work, including web and mobile application designs.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Figma is required for creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs. Experience with other design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or InVision is a plus.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Experience in conducting user research, usability testing, and design iterations based on feedback.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus, but not required.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail and ability to think critically about user experience.
• Creativity and problem-solving mindset with a passion for improving user interactions.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Expertise in Figma for all stages of the design process, from wireframing to prototyping and UI design.
• Experience in designing for SaaS platforms or ESG-related products is a plus.
• Familiarity with design systems and maintaining brand consistency across digital platforms.
