Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Designer to join our MEP team. This role can be 100% remote, or you may work from our Orange, CA office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design of plumbing systems for a variety of projects, including commercial, industrial, retail, and residential buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and design plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and natural gas systems.
Create detailed plumbing drawings and specifications.
Perform energy compliance calculations and documentation.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure project success.
Conduct site assessments and provide technical support during construction.
Ensure designs comply with relevant codes and standards.
Quality control reviews.
Qualifications:
Senior Level: Minimum of 8 years of experience in plumbing design specific to commercial and residential buildings.
Designer Level: Minimum of 4 years of experience in plumbing design specific to commercial and residential buildings
Proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit, and Microsoft 365.
Strong understanding of plumbing codes and standards.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Team leadership skills.
