Job Title: Chartered Accountant (CA) – Indian Accounting & Taxation

Location: India (On-site/Hybrid)

Reporting to: Senior Accounting Manager / Finance Director

Certification Required: Chartered Accountant (ICAI, India) – Mandatory

Job Overview: We are looking for a highly competent Chartered Accountant (CA) certified by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) to join our team in India. The role involves delivering comprehensive accounting, taxation, auditing, financial planning, and compliance services to our domestic Indian clientele. The candidate must possess in-depth knowledge of Indian financial regulations, direct and indirect taxation, statutory audits, and financial reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and finalization of financial statements as per Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and applicable accounting guidelines.
• Conduct statutory and internal audits ensuring adherence to compliance requirements laid down by ICAI and regulatory bodies.
• Prepare, review, and file Income Tax returns, GST returns, and other statutory compliance documents.
• Manage audits including statutory, tax, internal, and compliance audits.
• Provide tax planning and advisory services, ensuring clients comply with relevant taxation regulations.
• Ensure timely and accurate compliance with ROC filings, tax audits, and regulatory reporting.
• Offer guidance and support for corporate finance activities, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Liaise with government authorities, regulatory agencies, and banking institutions as necessary.
• Maintain client relationships through regular interactions, providing strategic financial advice and solutions.
• Keep abreast of changes in taxation laws, regulatory updates, and accounting standards.
• Train and mentor junior accountants, facilitating their professional growth.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant from ICAI (Mandatory).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in Indian accounting, taxation, and statutory audits.
• In-depth knowledge of Ind AS, GST, Income Tax, Companies Act, and regulatory compliances.
• Experience in reputable accounting firms or corporate financial roles preferred.
• Proficiency with accounting software (Tally ERP, Zoho Books, SAP, etc.) and taxation tools.
