The ideal candidate is a highly resourceful and innovative developer with extensive experience in the layout, design and coding of websites specifically in PHP format. You must also possess a strong knowledge of web application development using PHP programming language and MySQL Server databases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain web applications and back-end services using PHP .
  • Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code that follows industry best practices.
  • Work with MySQL , PostgreSQL , or other relational databases for data storage and manipulation.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate front-end technologies with server-side code.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs for integration with third-party services and front-end applications.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for performance and scalability.
  • Ensure the security of applications by following best practices.
  • Participate in the full software development life cycle, including requirement gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends to incorporate the latest best practices into your work.
  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability and stability of applications.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with PHP (including PHP 7.x and 8.x).
  • Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel , and Yii2
  • Knowledge of MySQL or PostgreSQL for database management.
  • Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs .
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML , CSS , JavaScript , and jQuery.
  • Experience with version control tools such as Git .
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns.
  • Ability to write clean, reusable, and efficient code.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with task management and collaboration tools like Jira , Trello , or Asana .
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
