Job Description: 

We are looking for an experienced React Native Developer to join our team. As a React Native Developer, you will be responsible for building high-performance, user-friendly mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms using React Native. You will ensure these applications are robust and easy to maintain and will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. A commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and a quality product is essential. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native. 
  • Translate designs and wireframes into fully functional mobile applications. 
  • Optimize components for maximum performance across a wide range of devices and screen sizes. 
  • Collaborate with backend developers, UI/UX designers, and other team members to establish objectives and design cohesive, user-focused applications. 
  • Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and provide guidance on React Native best practices. 
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in mobile development and integrate emerging technologies. 

Required Skills & Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • 3+ years of experience in mobile application development, with at least 2 years focused on React Native. 
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript. 
  • Experience with popular React workflows (such as Redux) and React Native libraries. 
  • Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Android Studio, and IntelliJ. 
  • Proficient in writing unit tests for React Native components using testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha. 
  • Strong understanding of mobile development is the best practices, including modular code structure and optimization techniques. 
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and GraphQL APIs. 
  • Experience with Git version control. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Familiarity with Expo framework for quick development and deployment of React Native applications. 
  • Experience in deploying mobile applications to both App Store and Google Play. 
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile. 
  • Previous experience in a startup environment. 
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies. 
  • A knack for benchmarking, optimization, and performance tuning.
