The DevOps engineer will play a pivotal role in automating the infrastructure and application deployment for the application development project aimed at automating the clinical workflow of kidney transplant patients’ bloodwork. This role involves building the CI/CD pipeline, IaC, and source code repo setup.


Responsibilities: · Collaborate with the Technical Lead, UX Designer & Technical Analyst to understand the technical requirements of the project.

· Design and build out the Azure landing zone and security setup to meet security standards. (Design should be based off the Azure well architected framework)

· Execute the buildout of the CI/CD pipeline

· Design and build out the IaC code and IaC pipelines · Ensure team has resources provisioned in Azure as required · Design and build out the cloud watch logging and alerting framework · Help the development team on best practices for logging and alerting

· Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues.

· Aid development team with source code repositories and required security


Position Must Have

· Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. ·

Proven experience defining a web responsive application.

· Strong understanding of system architecture and design. ·

Excellent problem-solving skills.

· Knowledge of Azure services and platforms. (AKS, ALB, Entra ID’s, Azure DevOps, Azure SQL Server, Security)

· Experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines, Azure code repositories

· Knowledge of YAML based pipelines and best practices on merging and branching strategies

· Knowledge of building docker based applications and deploying them to Azure services. Azure Container Services ·

Skilled with Azure Bicep or Terraform for IaC development

· Ability to design pipelines to integrate with Azure SQL Server database platforms, including using Liquibase or such tooling

· Packaging applications in docker for container deployments

· Knowledge of Microsoft AD, Entra ID, and other security applications

· Experience building out Network security groups and active director settings in Azure

· Experience integrating QA tooling into a CI/CD environment ·

Experience integrating security tools into a CI/CD environment


Positions Nice to Have

· Experience in healthcare technology is a plus. ·

Knowledge of Epic FHIR Api's would be nice

· Some knowledge of QA automation technologies

· Experience with Twilio or other SMS texting application platform

· Some experience with BI tooling like Microsoft PowerBI

· Design and development of an observability platform
