Cosmetics company | head of operations

Our client is the Indian distributor of a Polish cosmetics brand that offers a wide range of skin-friendly, cruelty-free, and vegan cosmetics. With innovation at its core, the brand crafts makeup and skincare using patented natural ingredients in its own labs, ensuring safety and efficacy.
In India, the brand is available in 50+ Nykaa stores and on major e-commerce platforms like Nykaa, Myntra, Amazon, and Flipkart.
About the Role: This individual will be responsible for managing and expanding the cosmetics brand's offline presence across India.
Prepare national sales plans for specific products/categories in conjunction with the Director.
Lead category strategy, development of national diffusion plans and plan optimization/promotion via ongoing analysis: consumer insights, category dynamics and competitive knowledge.
Work cross-functionally to develop and coordinate the many processes necessary to develop, implement, and execute an effective diffusion strategy, which includes consumer promotions, advertising, digital & social media strategy.
Analyse the potential of the launch of new products, making pricing, sizing and distribution recommendations based on sales and profit analysis.
Recommend appropriate range rationalizations.
Develop and co-ordinate presentations for meetings such as cycle and strategy meetings with large customers/Retailers/Distributors.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
A Bachelor's degree is required, MBA preferred
10+ years relevant work experience in Retail. (Cosmetic preferred)
Experience in handling ecommerce/online sales and have handled offline operations in the past.
Knowledge of market trends and consumer preferences, Company products goals and objectives.
Knowledge of sales and their marketability, sales and expense budgets, inventory, profit and loss.
Ability to innovate, develop and execute against all product initiatives. Must be a self-starter at Excel and Power Point.
Knowledge of administration and project management skills.
Good to have Skills & Experience
Experience in colour cosmetics and/or beauty and/or personal care categories a plus
