Key Responsibilities:
1. Order Processing:
- Receive, review, and process material orders accurately and promptly.
- Ensure all orders comply with company policies and contractual agreements.
- Verify order information for accuracy, including product details, pricing, and delivery instructions.
2. Delivery Management:
- Coordinate with the supply chain and warehouse teams to facilitate timely deliveries.
3. Customer Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal customers regarding order processing status.
- Provide timely updates and resolve internal customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
4. Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with delivery, procurement, finance, and other OM departments to ensure seamless order processing and fulfillment.
- Collaborate with the finance team to resolve any cost issues related to orders.
- Represent OM in HR engagements. Keep US based OM Managers informed of all events occurring in India.
5. Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze order trends and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports on order status, fulfillment rates, and customer satisfaction levels.
6. Process Improvement:
- Identify inefficiencies in the order management process and recommend solutions to enhance accuracy and speed.
- Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to streamline order processing activities.
7. Compliance and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all orders and related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
Experience:
15+ years’ experience in Order Management or Supply Chain organizations.
8+ years’ experience leading teams.
8+ years’ experience in ERP driven organizations
