Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and budget, in alignment with organizational goals and client requirements.
  • Coordinate and oversee project activities, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Monitor project progress and performance metrics, identifying and resolving issues to achieve project milestones and deliverables.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, suppliers, government authorities, and local communities.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met and expectations are managed.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure project continuity.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, environmental standards, and health and safety protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Allocate resources effectively, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to optimize project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Coordinate procurement activities, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships to support project deliverables.
  • Monitor project expenditures and financial performance, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints and financial forecasts.
  • Prepare regular progress reports, financial statements, and presentations for stakeholders and senior management.


Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience 5+ in project management, specifically within the energy sector (renewable and/or conventional energy projects).
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide multidisciplinary teams.
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities, with proficiency in English. Knowledge of Arabic or other languages spoken in the Middle East is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural environment and manage relationships across diverse stakeholders.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
  • Experience working on projects in the Middle East region, understanding local regulations, cultural dynamics, and business practices.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific technologies and innovations in the energy sector.
