Oracle Health Mission : Oracle Health is putting humans at the heart of the conversation and what the healthcare experience needs to look like – for patients, providers, payers, and the population. We will facilitate this by advancing the state of the art in healthcare and population level health, make it practical, effective, and real at practitioner level by connecting everything together. This will allow a patient to get point of care from anyone, anywhere or any device by providing the practitioner medical information leveraging global data.
Qualifications and Experience
- BS degree in Computer Science or related field (MS preferred)
- 4-13 years distributed service engineering experience in a software development environment
- Development experience in Java
- Hands-on experience designing, developing, and operating public cloud services
- Deep understanding of object-oriented design and SDK development, specifically within a cloud environment
- Experience working closely with architects, principals, product and program managers to deliver product features on time and with high quality.
- Good knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals.
- Working familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, and standard network architectures.
- Working knowledge of any infrastructure as code tools like Terraform
- Experience with containers and container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Good understanding of databases, NoSQL systems, storage and distributed persistence technologies.
- Expert in ES6, Javascript, ReactJS, Redux and TypeScript
- Expert in HTML5 and CSS3, including CSS preprocessors such as Sass or LESS.
- Experience with large Single Page Applications with complex state management.
- Experience with backend services using REST APIs or GraphQL.
- Strong experience with responsive design and development, ensuring seamless experiences across various devices and screen sizes.
- Familiarity with test frameworks like Selenium, Jest, Mocha, Chai, Puppeteer.
- Good understanding of Linux or desire to learn
- Demonstrable technical leadership and mentorship skills
- Experience with Cloud Engineering Infrastructure Development
- Demonstrated knowledge of OCI or AWS, Azure, GCP, Public Cloud SaaS, PaaS Services and/or related technology
Functional Qualifications:
- Ability to design and implement an intuitive and seamless customer experience
- Experience with large Single Page Applications with complex state management
- Hands-on experience with a public cloud platform like AWS, Azure, Oracle
- Experience with Agile Methodologies, specifically Scrum
- Experience using ticket tracking systems such as JIRA
- Quick learner to pick up new languages and technologies
- Self-driven, able to work independently on a project even while the design is evolving
- Strong desire to stay on top of new technologies and services
- Passionate about learning
- Strong communication skills, including cross-team collaboration
- Ability to deliver basic functionality and iterate
- Experience working with geographically distributed teams
- Knowledge of healthcare and experience delivering healthcare applications are significant plus.
