Role Overview
We are seeking a Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in technical accounting, Assurance and Audit, preferably from a Big 4 accounting firm. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in providing technical accounting expertise, review of financial statement of legal entities etc.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide technical accounting guidance and support to internal stakeholders on complex accounting issues and transactions.
- Assist in the implementation of new accounting standards, including the assessment of their impact on financial reporting.
- Review financial statements and disclosures to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the accounting implications of business decisions and initiatives.
- Prepare technical accounting memos and documentation to support accounting conclusions and recommendations.
- Develop and deliver training sessions and workshops to educate stakeholders on technical accounting topics and updates.
- Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry practices and communicate their implications to relevant stakeholders.
Position Requirements
- Chartered Accountant with Minimum of 3+ years of experience in technical accounting, Assurance and Audit, preferably from a Big 4 accounting firm.
- Strong understanding of IFRS/Ind-AS
- Experience in researching and interpreting accounting literature and applying it to complex accounting issues.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
