Designation : Regional/Area Credit Manager – Construction Finance Vertical
Location : Hyderabad
The Regional/Area Credit Manager will be responsible for evaluating and processing construction finance proposals, ensuring compliance with credit policies, and monitoring the credit portfolio post-sanction. This role demands a deep understanding of project finance, the local real estate market, and the ability to work collaboratively across internal and external stakeholders.
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification : Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred; MBA (Finance) will be an added advantage.
- Experience : 4-5 years in credit underwriting, specifically in Construction Finance .
- Knowledge : Strong understanding of the local real estate market, trends, and regulations. Local candidates preferred .
Key Responsibilities
- Proposal Processing :
- Conduct pre-sanction visits for project evaluation.
- Prepare Credit Appraisal Memos (CAMs) based on detailed financial and project analysis.
- Coordinate with external agencies such as lawyers and valuers, and internal teams like business, legal, operations, and risk control units.
- Credit Monitoring :
- Verify and analyze customer and project credentials to assess risk.
- Facilitate disbursements, including tranche releases and fund transfers.
- Conduct post-sanction monitoring, including NOC processing, fund utilization tracking, and periodic site visits.
- Stakeholder Management :
- Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure seamless processing and monitoring of credit facilities.
- Provide solutions to challenges within regulatory and policy frameworks.
- Compliance and Reporting :
- Ensure all activities comply with internal credit policies and external regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and provide regular updates on the portfolio's health.
