Software Development Engineer IV

About the Role:
As an SDE-IV at Interface, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining features, workflows, and APIs across our conversational AI platform, products, and partner integrations. You will also collaborate with a team of developers, product managers, QAs, and conversational designers.
Responsibilities:
Give and receive technical feedback through code reviews or design discussions.
Work on cutting-edge technology and solve complex problems.
Participate in the design and development of new features in the product.
Participate in product releases through requirement reviews, development, deployment, and documentation.
Ability to work in a high-paced dynamic environment with broad-level requirements and deadlines.
Hands-on experience in Node.js and working with Relational DBs.
Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.
Experience in building small products or features in a big product and taking it live.
Experience with Version Control systems, preferably GIT.
Excellent team orientation skills and communication skills.
Passionate about learning new technologies and programming languages.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
Required Skills:
7-10 years of work experience as a software developer
Hands-on experience in building small products or features in a big product and taking it live
Hands-on experience in Node.js
Hands-on experience in working with Relational DBs and writing complex SQL queries (Postgresql/MySQL)
Good understanding of data structures and algorithms
Working knowledge of Linux/Solaris environments
Preferred Skills:
Experience in a startup environment of 5 to 30 employees
Experience with performance tuning and resolving production issues
Exposure to the AWS cloud environment
Pay range and compensation package:
Salary and compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.
