Pepper Content ( is building a global content marketplace that brings companies and content creators together to scale up content creation processes across 75+ content verticals and 150+ content categories. Over the past 5 years, over 100,000+ freelance content creators have applied to be part of the Pepper network of which we work with the top 5% talent, and on the other end - we work with over 2500+ customers like Amazon, Adobe, Google, HDFC Bank, Adani, and the majority of the startup ecosystem.

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Head of Content to join our growing team. In this leadership role, you'll be responsible for overseeing content for our B2B enterprise clients to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to industry standards.

Primary Responsibilities

On a typical day, the candidate will fulfil the following responsibilities:

  • Work closely with writers, editors and reviewers to proofread B2B content to ensure accuracy, clarity, coherence, and compliance with client’s guidelines. You will also be responsible to train these creators
  • Maintain top notch communication channels with client on project deliverables
  • Conduct fact-checking and verify information to maintain high editorial standards
  • Revise or re-organize content to enhance readability and coherence
  • Ensure all content is meticulously proofread for grammatical accuracy, typographical errors, and consistency
  • Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in content marketing, specifically within the B2B sector. This allows you to develop innovative content strategies and ensure our work resonates with the target audience

Ideal Candidate

  • 10+ years’ experience in editorial content review (B2B or related Industry)
  • Proven track record of managing and leading editorial teams
  • Editing & proofreading mastery with meticulous attention to detail
  • Proficient in editing software & tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong command of grammar and style
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • In-depth knowledge of B2B SaaS Industry-terminology, practices, and current industry trends
  • In-depth understanding of SEO best practices and content optimization techniques
  • A passion for content creation and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
