Job Description: Interpreter (Japanese Language)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and professional interpreter to join our team and provide language interpretation services for our organization. The ideal candidate should have exceptional Japanese language skills, cultural understanding, and the ability to facilitate communication between individuals, both written and verbal.


Responsibilities:

1. Provide accurate interpretation services during meetings, conferences, interviews, or other events (written and verbal).

2. Translate (written and verbal) communication from one language to another while maintaining the original meaning and context.

3. Ensure clear and effective communication between parties who do not speak the same language (written and verbal).

4. Remain impartial and maintain confidentiality while interpreting sensitive information (written and verbal).

5. Possess knowledge of specialized terminology in various fields such as legal, technical or business settings (written and verbal).

6. Collaborate with clients to understand their specific interpreting needs and requirements (written and verbal).

7. Adhere to ethical standards of conduct as outlined by professional interpreter associations.


Qualifications:

1. Proficiency in at least three languages, including English and Japanese (both written and verbal).

2. Strong Written and verbal communication skills and ability to express ideas clearly in both languages.

3. Cultural sensitivity and understanding of social nuances related to different languages and cultures.

4. Previous experience as an interpreter is mandatory.
