We're Looking For: Penetration Testing Consultant

Location: Pune

Mode: Hybrid (Work-from-home and on-site flexibility)

The ideal candidate will come from a professional consulting background and have experience as a senior penetration tester, application or network security engineer, or similar background. The candidate must also have a desire to deliver excellent client service and have a passion for the profession and will feel comfortable working with both technical and business audiences, in the delivery of technical security assessment services.

Core Requirements:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include:

  1. Ability to successfully interface with clients
  2. Ability to document and explain technical details in a concise, understandable manner
  3. Leading Attack and Penetration, Vulnerability assessment engagements against client networks, devices and applications.
  4. Writing clear and concise reports with actionable remediation and practical recommendations for both a business and technical audience. While adequately explaining, presenting and/or demonstrating (when applicable) the operational impact of a particular vulnerability/exploit.
  5. Create, review, revise, and maintain technical documents and user documentation.

Requirements and qualifications

  1. Previous working experience as a Penetration Testing Expert for min 3 year(s)
  2. In-depth knowledge of application development processes and at least one programing or scripting language (e.g., Java, Scala, C#, Ruby, Perl, Python, PowerShell)
  3. Hands on experience with testing frameworks such as the PTES and OWASP
  4. Applicable knowledge of Windows client/server, Unix/Linux systems, Mac OS X, VMware/Xen, and cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  5. Critical thinker and problem solver
  6. Excellent organizational and time management skills

Education & Other Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s or Master's Degree with a technical focus or in a related discipline or comparable work experience
  2. OSCP, GPEN, GWAPT, OSWE, CEH certifications a plus
