About the Role

Tezo is looking for a experienced Data Solution Architect with 10-12 years of expertise in designing, architecting, and delivering enterprise-grade data solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modelling, data warehousing, and presales engagements , with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing data architectures. This role requires a blend of technical leadership, client engagement, and solution design capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of end-to-end data solutions across enterprise environments.
• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned with business needs.
• Architect, implement, and optimize data warehouses, data marts, and data lakes for analytics and reporting.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution consultants, and sales teams during presales discussions , including RFP/RFI responses, solution presentations, and client workshops.
• Provide architectural guidance on ETL/ELT design, data integration, and migration strategies .
• Ensure solutions adhere to data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
• Evaluate and recommend modern data technologies, platforms, and cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Partner with delivery teams to ensure architecture is implemented as designed and meets business requirements.
• Support performance optimization, scalability, and reliability of data solutions.
• Contribute to the development of reusable solution accelerators, frameworks, and best practices .

Mandatory Skills

• 10–12 years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and enterprise data solutions .
• Strong expertise in data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical) and data architecture frameworks.
• Proven experience in designing and delivering data warehouse solutions (e.g., Teradata, Oracle, Snowflake, Redshift, Azure Synapse, BigQuery).
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, Talend, Azure Data Factory, dbt, etc.).
• Strong understanding of SQL, database optimization, and query tuning .
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) and their native data services.
• Experience in presales engagements – solutioning, client workshops, RFP/RFI response, and technical presentations.
• Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and security best practices .
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to interact with both business and technical teams.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Big Data ecosystems (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
• Experience in real-time data integration and streaming analytics.
• Exposure to machine learning and advanced analytics enablement .
• Certifications in cloud platforms (Azure Data Engineer/Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Data Engineer).
