• Perform tests to evaluate durability, strength, and overall product performance.
• Document and report findings from inspections, including any defects, damages, or irregularities.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify root causes of defects and recommend solutions or improvements to enhance quality.
• Maintain records of quality control reports and assist in developing quality control procedures.
• Ensure that finished products adhere to eco-friendly standards and sustainability commitments.
Key Skills:
• Attention to Detail: Ability to identify small defects in stitching, embroidery, material quality, and overall craftsmanship.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of fabrics, materials, stitching techniques, and patterns used in home accessories, home furnishings, and bags.
• Problem Solving: Capability to quickly assess issues, suggest improvements, and prevent recurring quality concerns.
• Testing & Inspection: Knowledge of quality control testing methods for product durability, strength, and consistency.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills to work effectively with designers, production staff, and management teams.
• Record Keeping: Ability to maintain clear and accurate records of inspection results and quality control procedures.
Qualifications:
• Diploma/degree in Quality Control, Textiles, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in quality inspection for textiles, home accessories, or bag manufacturing.
• Familiarity with eco-friendly materials and sustainable production processes.
• Knowledge of industry standards and quality assurance best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
