Plastic Surgeon (Specialist)Medical City for Military and Security ServicesMuscat, Sultanate of OmanThe Medical City for Military and Security Services (MCMSS) in Muscat Oman is a Tertiary/Quaternary Care level city providing services to patients of different age groups in different specialties.MCMSS is seeking to appoint Plastic Surgeon (Specialist), who is well trained and highly motivated individual to develop her/his professional career within the MCMSS.Education/Qualifications:Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery certificate or equivalentInternship certificateBoard certified in Plastic Surgeon or equivalent/ or completion of training program in Plastic Surgeon or Fellowship in Plastic Surgeon.Experience Post-Qualifications:At least 2 years of post-fellowship experience in Plastic Surgeon or 3 years' experience in Plastic Surgeon.Job Duties/Responsibilities:Senior Specialist/ Specialist in Plastic Surgeon.Senior Specialist/ Specialist in General SurgeryOn-call as per regulations of the departmentInterested in teaching of students, residents fellow and other allied health care professionalsInterest in teaching of students, residents fellow and other allied health care professionalsParticipates in health education programs through orientation and scientific presentationsAdheres to policies, guidelines, plans and programs of MCMSSPerforms all duties assigned to his designationPerforms all relevant interventions related to his/her field of specializationCompletes and maintains her/ his set of clinical privilegesPerforms other duties as assigned/directed by the chairperson / head of the departmentSalary will be based upon qualifications, experience and available vacancies, using Oman Medical Bylaw.Interested candidates should apply with CV and letter of interest via the APPLY button.
