Role
The Senior Blockchain Developer at Vision+ is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting blockchain applications and solutions. This role focuses on developing secure and scalable blockchain architectures, smart contracts, and DApps, with a particular emphasis on integrating these solutions into Vision+’s products. The ideal candidate should bring expertise in blockchain protocols, cryptographic algorithms, and decentralized applications.
Reporting Line
Reports directly to the Head of Engineering.
Work relations
Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and security teams to ensure blockchain solutions meet company objectives and regulatory requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and implement secure blockchain-based applications and protocols.
• Write, test, and deploy smart contracts on platforms such as Ethereum and other blockchain networks.
• Collaborate with product teams to define blockchain-based use cases and technical solutions.
• Ensure secure integration of blockchain solutions with Vision+’s existing systems and platforms.
• Conduct research and stay updated on advancements in blockchain technology and cryptography.
• Optimize blockchain applications for performance, scalability, and security.
• Maintain thorough documentation for all blockchain development activities.
Job Requirements
Education
a. Essential
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
b. Desirable
• Advanced degree or certifications in blockchain technology.
Language
a. Essential
Proficiency in English.
Experience
a. Essential
• 5+ years of experience in blockchain development and decentralized applications.
• Proven experience with smart contract development, particularly on Ethereum or similar blockchain networks.
• Strong understanding of cryptography, consensus algorithms, and blockchain protocols.
• Portfolio of previous blockchain projects showcasing successful deployment of secure and scalable solutions.
b. Desirable
• Experience in fintech or finance-related blockchain applications.
• Exposure to Web3, decentralized finance (DeFi), and related technologies.
Job Related Competencies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in blockchain solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
b. Desirable
• Familiarity with blockchain development frameworks, such as Truffle or Hardhat.
