Role Description :
This is a full-time on-site role for a Student Support & Admission Ocer (Counsellor) at Unacademy Centre, Kolkata. Responsibilities: Conduct cold calls to identify and qualify leads from a dened target audience. Understand the unique needs of learners and recommend Unacademy’s courses that align with their goals. Deliver compelling sales presentations via phone and Face To Face Counselling Sessions, showcasing the value and benefits of Unacademy’s offerings. Address customer concerns and objections effectively to close enrollments. Build strong, trust-based relationships with potential learners to nurture leads for future conversions. Maintain accurate records of calls, interactions, and progress toward personal and team sales targets using CRM tools.
Qualifications :
Proven B2 C sales experience, ideally within the education or technology sector. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust over the phone. Strong problem-solving skills and consultative selling expertise. Condence in overcoming objections and negotiating effectively. Strong time-management skills, capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team. Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and driven to meet and exceed targets. Prociency in Google Sheets and CRM for tracking leads and generating reports. Familiarity with educational content, data science, or programming is a plus. Experience: Minimum of 1 year in business development, sales, or counseling roles. Prior experience in edtech or service startups is a plus.
