The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player capable of mentoring junior developers and taking ownership of end-to-end development delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain Java-based applications that are high-performing and low-latency.Contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) .Analyze user requirements to define business objectives and translate them into technical specifications.Develop, test, and deploy software components following best coding practices.Ensure application designs align with business and architectural goals.Perform database operations using Hibernate or Spring JDBC with SQL and MongoDB .Work with Junit , GitHub , Maven , GIT , and MQ for development and integration.Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and use Jira for task management.Mentor junior team members and guide them technically to ensure high-quality code delivery.Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues during development and production support.Create and maintain detailed technical documentation and propose improvements to existing Java infrastructure.Mandatory Skills✔ Strong expertise in Core Java , J2EE , Spring Boot , Hibernate , and Microservices✔ Hands-on experience in RESTful Web Services and Database Integration (SQL/MongoDB)✔ Real-time experience with JUnit , Git/GitHub , Maven , and Message Queues (MQ)✔ Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodology and Jira✔ Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skillsNice to HaveExperience in Banking / Financial Services domainExposure to technical mentoring and team leadershipImportant Note (Please Read Before Applying)Do NOT apply if:You have less than 5 years or more than 8 years of experienceYou do not have hands-on experience in Java + Spring Boot + MicroservicesYou are on a notice period longer than 15 daysYou are looking for a remote-only role (this is a Hybrid position in Pune)You come from a non-Java / non-development background✅ Apply ONLY if you meet ALL criteria above.
