You will collaborate closely with our design, marketing, and product teams to deliver visually compelling, user-friendly, and high-performance eCommerce websites that drive sales and align with our clients' goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify stores, themes, and apps.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code to implement website features and functionality.
- Customize Shopify themes to meet specific client requirements and brand guidelines.
- Work with the design team to translate designs into high-quality, responsive eCommerce websites.
- Integrate third-party applications, payment gateways, and APIs into Shopify stores.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website functionality, performance, and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless user experiences and eCommerce solutions.
- Perform website updates, including product pages, collections, pricing, and content updates.
- Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.
- Ensure that all Shopify websites follow best practices in terms of security, scalability, and performance.
- Conduct regular testing to ensure compatibility across various devices and browsers.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience of more than three years as a Shopify Developer or in a similar eCommerce development role.
- Strong proficiency in Liquid (Shopify’s templating language), HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Solid experience with Shopify's API and integrations.
- Familiarity with Shopify Apps and tools.
- Strong understanding of responsive design and mobile-first web development.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and how they apply to eCommerce websites.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to solve complex problems.
