ONCOassist is an innovative clinical decision-support tool designed to empower oncology professionals by providing them with accurate, timely, and practical tools and content to enhance patient care. We are looking for a dedicated Medical Doctor or Pharmacist specializing in oncology and/or hematology to help elevate our platform's medical content including accuracy, relevance and impact.
Role Overview
We seek a full-time oncology specialist to join our team, working closely with our internal medical and content teams and our network of oncologists. You will play a vital role in ensuring ONCOassist remains a trusted source of tools, news, and guidance for oncology professionals worldwide. This role is ideal for a motivated professional passionate about oncology who enjoys working at the intersection of technology and clinical practice.
Key Responsibilities
Content Review and Development:
Regularly review and validate ONCOassist’s oncology-specific tools and content to ensure they reflect the latest medical standards and best practices.
Participate in the development of new medical content.
Update and maintain all internal medical documentation, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance with clinical guidelines.
Collaborate with our oncology board and advisory panel to review and provide insights on content updates and emerging trends in oncology.
Content Creation for Newsfeed and Social Media:
Develop and curate oncology news articles and updates for the ONCOassist platform’s newsfeed, keeping users informed of significant advancements and research.
Generate engaging and medically accurate content for social media to expand our reach and connect with a broader oncology audience.
Video Content Review:
Review video content for medical accuracy and adherence to the latest clinical guidelines, ensuring that all content presented to users is reliable and educational.
Support the creation of video scripts and oversee post-production edits to maintain high standards of medical integrity.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Serve as a key point of contact with external oncology experts, fostering collaborative relationships to enhance ONCOassist’s offerings.
Actively participate in discussions with our team of oncologists, gathering insights and feedback to refine our platform's content and tools.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Medical degree (MD, MBBS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) with a specialization or strong experience in oncology and/or hematology.
Experience:
3+ years of clinical medical practice.
Skills:
Strong understanding of oncology-specific tools, terminology and clinical guidelines.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to ensure clinical accuracy in tools, content, and multimedia.
Skilled in translating complex medical information into digestible and engaging content for diverse audiences.
Ability to participate in clinical content review with a view to display in a digital health software platform.
Communication:
Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with medical professionals and maintain relationships with content partners and board members.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
