Job purpose:
Design & implement the best-engineered technical solutions using the latest technologies and tools.
Who you are :
You have 5-7 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior role, particularly within Azure cloud environments.
You are an expert in Azure cloud services, including but not limited to Azure App Service, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Virtual Machines, Azure AD B2C, Azure DevOps, and Azure Functions, with a solid understanding of how to architect and manage scalable, secure cloud infrastructure.
You have a strong foundation in infrastructure as code (IaC) principles, specifically using Terraform for Azure, enabling consistent and automated provisioning of Azure resources.
You have hands-on experience implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, primarily using tools like Jenkins integrated with Azure DevOps for seamless, automated deployments within the Azure ecosystem.
You are highly proficient with containerization technologies, such as Docker, and are experienced in managing containerized workloads in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) to ensure scalable and resilient applications.
You have in-depth knowledge of Azure networking components like Virtual Networks (VNets), Azure Load Balancer, and Application Gateway, ensuring secure and optimized connectivity across environments.
You are proficient with monitoring and logging tools, such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics, ensuring end-to-end observability and proactive issue resolution within Azure infrastructures.
Your leadership and mentorship skills are proven through your experience in building and guiding high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, and leading DevOps best practices in Azure.
You are a strong problem-solver with excellent troubleshooting skills, able to communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and secure solutions.
Good to Have:
Azure certifications such as AZ-104 (Microsoft Azure Administrator) or AZ-305 (Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect), or AZ-204 (Microsoft Azure Developer Associate), showcasing a deep understanding of Azure architecture, administration, and development.
Experience working with serverless architectures in Azure, such as Azure Functions and Azure Logic Apps, as well as microservices architecture deployed on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
Strong knowledge of security best practices and hands-on experience implementing security controls and policies within Azure, including Azure Security Center, Azure Key Vault, and role-based access control (RBAC).
Familiarity with agile development methodologies and a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within agile teams.
