Today, an Indian hospital revenue is largely dominated by Insurance payers - Govt + Private. With 200+ payers in the mix, the overall revenue cycle management (RCM) in India is broken, opaque, and complex filled with unexpected shortfalls and delayed realizations. At Care.fi, we are building India’s first AI-led RCM platform for hospitals which will enable them to solve these pitfalls and thereby improving margins. We believe the next revolution in the Indian start-up ecosystem would be in the Health-Fintech vertical. We are a fun, young, ambitious group of ex-entrepreneurs, generalists, Biz Dev folks, and engineers from top institutes of the country (IIMs, IITs, BITS, Ashoka, etc.). We have previously built and scaled products to $100M Business across HealthTech and FinTech. We are looking for a like-minded individual to join our Founder’s Office team. We want you to have a PhD mentality – poor, hungry, and driven. Role Overview The Cluster Head- West will own end-to-end business delivery across 10–15 Key Hospitals in a cluster, leading a team of 30-40 sales associates. This role would be based out of Mumbai or Pune. This role blends Business Growth, P&L ownership, Stakeholder Management, and Operational Execution. You will drive patient onboarding and penetration, strengthen relationships with senior hospital leaders (COOs, billing and insurance heads), and build a performance-driven culture within your team. Key Responsibilities 1. Business & Growth Ownership Full ownership of P&L, growth targets, contribution margin, and penetration for the cluster. Drive business growth by leading and motivating sales associates. Use data-driven insights to identify growth opportunities and scale business outcomes. 2. Stakeholder Management Build and manage relationships with senior hospital stakeholders (COOs, Heads of Insurance/Billing/Operations). Position Aldun as a strategic partner, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term retention. Lead conversations around business expansion and cross-hospital partnerships. 3. Execution & Operations Ensure smooth delivery of services across all hospitals in the cluster. Oversee billing, disbursals, and process compliance, while improving turnaround times (TAT). Balance on ground execution with strategic initiatives to ensure scalability. 4. Team Leadership & Development Lead, coach, and grow a team of 30-40 sales associates across hospitals. Create a performance driven culture through structured reviews, incentives, and recognition. Proactively manage hiring, training, and retention to build a strong talent pipeline. KPIs for Success Cluster level P&L and revenue growth Patient onboarding penetration and discharge volumes Client satisfaction and hospital NPS Team performance and retention Contribution margin and efficiency metrics Ideal Candidate Profile 5-8 years of experience in Business Growth, P&L management, category management, customer success, or business operations. Proven ability to lead large distributed teams across multiple locations. Strong stakeholder management experience with senior leadership (CXO/COO level). Analytical mindset with the ability to use data for problem solving and growth decisions. Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Background in healthcare, e-commerce, FMCG, SaaS or consumer services preferred.
