Job Title: Firewall Governance EngineerDepartment: IT – SecurityBusiness Area: Information TechnologyLocation: Pune, IndiaKey ResponsibilitiesManage Tufin tool upgrades, patches, and infrastructure maintenance.Oversee Tufin hardware end-of-life (EOL) management and infrastructure upkeep.Monitor and troubleshoot firewall configurations and related issues.Support Disaster Recovery (DR) exercises and actual DR situations.Govern firewall change requests, assisting on-prem teams with approvals based on risk reviews.Conduct periodic reviews of implemented changes (weekly sample checks against Service Now requests).Drive firewall configuration reviews and annual rule recertification activities.Perform rule usage-based reviews to identify unused or redundant rules.Review and address high-risk firewall rules.Ensure daily snapshots/backups of all firewalls and devices, and oversee automated backup tasks.QualificationsTufin Certified Security Expert (TCSE) – mandatory.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent tertiary education (preferred).5–8 years of experience in firewall management, rule reviews, and governance—preferably in financial services.
