P&C Actuarial Specialist- Reserving

Overall Objectives of JobAs part of the growing actuarial function at Allianz Services India, you will be required to work closely with actuarial teams of other operating entities of Allianz. You will be involved with both projected based activities like model development/model testing, pricing and also BAU activities such as actuarial valuation of P&C insurance products.Duties and ResponsibilitiesWork on IFRS17 reporting activities to support he monthly/quarterly closing related tasksAnalyzing, optimizing and creating financial models that form the basis of insurance productsProviding thorough analyses of complex dataWork together with pricing and underwriting teams to understand and ensure accurate delivery of their requirements.Ensure the quality of pricing tool updates including peer reviewing and comprehensive testingCollaborate effectively with IT on the integration of the pricing tools within IT landscapeProvide support on the various modeling initiatives and ensure proper documentation is in placeContribute to the process improvement initiativesQualification, Experience and SkillsMaster’s degree in Actuarial Science/Statistics/Mathematics/B.Tech with good academic backgroundStudent member of a recognized Actuarial Institute such as IFoA, IAI, SOA etc. and have cleared at least 5 actuarial examsMinimum 5 years of relevant experience in P&C insurance domain (experience of successfully working in close partnership with Reserving and IT teamsPrior IFRS17 reporting experiencePartnering mentality with the ability to build strong working relationships with peers, management and the business areasStrong programming skills: Excel, VBA, Python. ResQGood communication skills, both verbal and written, with ability to interact with customers from different geographical areasGood with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Access, Word, PowerPointPossesses basic knowledge of SQL and can work with databasesExcellent analytical skills with attention to detailsAbility to work within a team
