Solution /Data ArchitectSkills12-18 years of experience, with at least a few years in the Pharmaceuticals/life sciences sector (Healthcare or hospital experience does not qualify)..Shift can extend till 11pm IST(2-10PM_RemoteJob DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesDesign end-to-end data platform architectures.Build scalable solutions on leading cloud platforms using best-practice patterns.Create data models and integrate pharma datasets (EDC, CTMS, IRT, CRM, 3PL,claims, hub, dispense, etc.).Produce solution blueprints, architecture diagrams, and implementation roadmaps.Lead technical delivery across multiple engagements.Conduct design reviews, guide development teams and ensure solution quality.Ensure adherence to Data governance, Security & Compliance.Oversee operational support activities, driving automation where possible andresolving data management and analytics-related issues.Contribute reusable assets, frameworks, and best practices for the practice.Bring practical knowledge of AI/ML or GenAI to enhance solution oƯerings.Identify opportunities & design solutions where AI can improve insights,automation, or workflow eƯiciency.Must-Have QualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science/software engineering or equivalentcombination of education and experience10+ years in data engineering, architecture, or delivery leadership roles.At least 5 years of experience working in the Biotech/Pharma Industry supportingClinical/Commercial business units to meet their Data and Reporting needs.Hands-on experience with leading cloud platforms & services including:AWS: S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, RDS, EMR, Athena, Step FunctionsAzure: Azure Data Lake, ADF, Synapse, Functions, Key Vault, Event Hub.Snowflake, DatabricksExpertise in data lake/Lakehouse architectures and modern ELT patterns.Strong SQL, Python, Spark, and data modeling skills.Experience integrating pharma datasets & systemsExperience/good understanding of BI & reporting platforms such as:Power BI, Tableau, SpotfireUnderstanding of regulated data environments.Proven experience leading multi-phase or multi-team delivery.Excellent communication and client-facing leadership.Good-to-Have SkillsExperience with GenAI, ML pipelines, RAG architectures, embeddings, vector DBs.Master Data Management (MDM) experience.Cloud/Data certifications (AWS/Azure/Snowflake/Databricks).CI/CD, Terraform, containerization (Docker/K8s).Deep understanding of specific business processes within the pharma value chain(e.g., clinical trial phases, supply chain logistics)Experience in designing and managing APIs for data ingestion and consumption
