Product Owner – Internship – Job Description

Duration- 6 Months

5 Days at office

15K Stipend


Role Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Product Owner Intern to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to learn and contribute to product development in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The intern will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and stakeholders, to help define product features and ensure alignment with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in defining and prioritizing product features, ensuring alignment with the overall product vision.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing) to gather requirements and communicate product needs.
  • Help create and maintain product roadmaps, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint retrospectives.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify product improvements and new opportunities.
  • Assist in gathering and analyzing feedback from users to drive continuous product improvement.
  • Ensure that the development team understands the product vision and scope for each release.
  • Support the Product Owner in backlog management and grooming sessions.

Requirements:

  • MBA graduate with an interest in product management.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior internship or experience in a related field (product management, business analysis, or software development).
  • Basic knowledge of wireframing and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch).
  • Knowledge or experience in Generative AI (Gen AI) technologies is an advantage.
  • Passion for technology and product development.
