What’s your new role about? The Upgrade Engineer will be participating in execution of critical software and system upgrades across Elevate's enterprise technology landscape. These upgrades may involve:

  • .NET Framework/Packages
  • Angular Framework/Packages
  • Third-Party Libraries
  • Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Execution of software and system upgrades across Elevate's enterprise technology landscape.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, Development, and Architects, to ensure seamless upgrade processes.
  3. Performs testing and validate the upgrade
  4. Create comprehensive documentation for upgrade processes, including plans, results, and rollback procedures.
  5. Monitor system performance post-upgrade and address any issues that arise swiftly.

Ensure compliance with security protocols and standards during all upgrade activities.

Education: Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology or equivalent experience

Skills:

Must have

  • Basic knowledge in programming, preferably in .NET languages (C#, VB.NET) and SQL.
  • Understanding of CI/CD practices
  • Experience in managing software upgrades is a plus
  • Good communication skills

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in Terraform
  • Experience in Angular
  • Experience with DevOps Tools:
  • Experience with Automated Testing:
