Role SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Cloud Administrator with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure in AWS and/or Azure environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for provisioning, monitoring, automation, and security of cloud-based workloads, ensuring high availability, scalability, and cost efficiency.Key Responsibilities- Manage, monitor, and optimize workloads in AWS / Azure environments (EC2, S3, RDS, Azure VM, Storage, App Services, etc.)- Implement and maintain IAM, Security Groups, VPCs, VNets, and related networking components- Managing and configuring transit gateways, route tables, VPC peering, Direct Connect/Express route- Managing application & network load balancers to ensure efficient network traffic flow and high availability of applications- Knowledge of WAF & Cloud Firewalls- Perform provisioning, configuration, patching, and scaling of cloud resources- Support CI/CD pipelines and assist Dev Ops teams with infrastructure automation using Cloud Formation, ARM Templates, Terraform, or Ansible- Ensure backup, DR (Disaster Recovery), and cost optimization strategies are implemented effectively- Monitor system performance, uptime, and capacity planning using Cloud Watch, Azure Monitor, or equivalent tools- Maintain compliance with organizational security and governance policies- Support troubleshooting of infrastructure incidents and participate in 24x7 on-call rotation if required- Document cloud infrastructure, processes, and best practicesRequired Skills & Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field- 3–5 years of experience as a Cloud / System Administrator in enterprise environments- Strong knowledge of AWS or Azure core services, networking, storage, and compute- Experience with Linux and Windows Server administration in cloud environments- Understanding of cloud security best practices and IAM management- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Cloud Watch, Azure Monitor, Grafana)- Experience with scripting languages (Power Shell, Bash, or Python) for automation tasks will be an added benefit- Knowledge on AWS Connect is a plus- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices is a plusPreferred Certifications- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate- Any additional certification in Security, Networking, or Dev Ops is a plusSoft Skills- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills- Excellent communication and documentation abilities- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams- Proactive mindset with attention to detail
