The Senior Salesforce Engineer I plays a pivotal role in helping the company maximize the value of their Salesforce investment by creating tailored solutions that address unique business needs, improve user experience, and support data-driven decision-making.
The position works closely with product owners and user experience teams in an agile environment to incrementally release new features and applications within the Salesforce platform.
The role also involves participating in planning and collaborating with team members to facilitate solutions.
In addition, the Senior Salesforce Engineer I writes code, formulates tests, and contributes to continuous integration structure.
Primary/Key Responsibilities Develop and implement software applications to address complex and critical tasks within the Salesforce environment.
Playing a key role in designing and refining the architecture of applications.
Managing and maintaining existing systems and applications, ensuring their ongoing functionality, performance, and deployment.
Maintain high test coverage across unit, functional, and integration test suites.
Manage the timeline and status of the software release process Work closely with developers to learn implementation details about product features and perform releases Provide production support for software products by investigating and recreating reported defects Providing guidance, mentorship, and training to other team members.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, to meet project goals and deliverables.
Continuously evaluating and adopting best practices in applications to improve security and performance.
Involve in conducting interviews and various organizational initiatives.
Hybrid Schedule: 3 days remote / 2 days in office 30-day notification period preferred Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent proven experience required.
6+ years of experience developing on the Salesforce.com platform.
Experience with Salesforce.com developer toolkit including Apex Classes, Apex Web Services (with REST and SOAP standards), Apex Controllers, Triggers, Visualforce pages, LWC, Batch Apex, Apex Schedulers, Custom Settings, Custom Labels, SOQL and Migration Tools.
Demonstrate an excellent understanding of various governor limits applicable to Salesforce.
Strong foundations of basic software development principles: Design patterns, Modular programming, Object Oriented design, and Microservices.
Proven ability to integrate business processes across disparate systems using ESB, SOAP, and/or REST-based web services.
Proven experience with front-end technologies such as Java Script, CSS, and HTML.

Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision effectively.
Existing Salesforce certifications (PD 1 and PD 2) or demonstrated success on Trailhead are looked upon very favorably.
