We’re Hiring: Project & Site Engineer

Location : Bangalore         

Join Vidhathri Developers as a Project & Site Engineer and play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and delivering high-quality projects that redefine excellence in construction.

What You’ll Do

As a key contributor to our team, your responsibilities will include:

1.  Project Planning & Execution :

o  Develop detailed project schedules and work plans, ensuring all milestones are achieved within specified timelines and budgets.

o  Coordinate with architects, consultants, and contractors to align designs, materials, and construction methods.

o  Supervise day-to-day on-site activities, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards.

2.  Technical Proficiency :

o  Use AutoCAD and STAAD Pro for design evaluations and structural analysis.

o  Leverage tools like Microsoft Project or Primavera for effective project scheduling and monitoring.

o  Prepare and manage accurate BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and track resource utilization efficiently.

3.  On-Site Supervision :

o  Manage contractor teams, track progress, and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications.

o  Generate detailed contractor bills and ensure proper verification of quantities and materials.

o  Identify and resolve on-site challenges swiftly to avoid delays.

4.  Quality Assurance & Compliance :

o  Conduct regular quality checks and audits on construction materials and completed work.



5.  Communication & Collaboration :

o  Serve as a bridge between various stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication across departments.

o  Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress and key issues.


What You Should Bring

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Educational Background :
  • A Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience :
  • 2-5 years of experience in managing both project planning and on-site execution.
  • Technical Expertise :
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD , STAAD Pro/Revit , and BOQ preparation .
  • Experience with project planning tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera .
  • Ability to generate contractor bills and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Key Skills & Attributes :
  • Communication & Presentation Skills : Strong ability to present ideas clearly and interact effectively with teams, contractors, and clients.
  • Language Proficiency : Fluent in English , Kannada to facilitate seamless communication with diverse stakeholders. Other languages is a plus but not required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address on-site challenges effectively.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple responsibilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for learning and taking on challenges.
